Daylilies

When we moved to Michigan, these were the flowers that greeted us at the front door. To me, they were a sign that this is where we were meant to be. The house needed a serious overhaul, but the Daylilies were a colour I’d craved for years and could never find. Instead, they found me.

It was the very first stained glass piece to be made in my new studio, in my new home in Michigan. Today, the front garden is filled with apricot hued daylilies that give me joy whenever I see them.
