One By Starlight

In the spring of 2021, we saw so few fawns.  In fact, there was only one that came regularly to our yard.  As all young are, she was beautiful.  I was moved by the fragility and the innocence of her.  We watched her grow all fall and into the winter.  We watched as her mom pushed her away from the deer block when she got a little too greedy.  The spring, summer and fall of 2021 was special because of her.
