One Spring Night
These tulips were made at a time when I was mourning the loss of summer and the stretch to spring seemed like such a long way off. The colors of fall had left the trees and the snow was beginning to cover the landscape.
After this piece was titled, I found song lyrics that go with a tv series, “One Spring Night”.
When we look back on these days
When the stories are all that remain,
Will we be more than
the voices in our heads?
What will we spend on regret?
How far will we go to forget?
