She Sees the World Through Rose Coloured Glasses

She Sees the World Through Rose Coloured Glasses was designed around a song by Blue Rodeo.  I couldn’t get the song out of my head; it just kept on playing.

Of course the panel had to be round, it had to have roses, and all of the circles in the design were based off of John Lennon’s glasses.  Not only does this piece bring joy into my life, but it reminds me of good times gone by. I hope it does the same for you.

This is the final (I think) panel in a series of three rose panels with the pink and white fracture glass in the background.  If you look closely, you’ll notice that each circle in the panel is “match cut” in which adjoining pieces line up perfectly with each other.
