The Lilies

The Lilies were made specifically for Ross and Cathy Lillie.  

This showy member of the water lily family is native to Michigan.  It’s large white flowers are often fragrant, hence the specific epithet “odorata”. 

The lily is generally found in quiet water up to 5 or 6 feet deep and the flowers are open during the daytime for only three days.
