Never was there a king quite so benevolent or regal! He wore his mane pelt like a stole and the leaves in his fur, like a crown. The Fox King ruled deep in the forest, away from human eyes and exists only as legend.
Red foxes have always held a place in my heart. I’d see them frequently in the field when I lived in rural Manitoba. They’ve always been a creature of quiet beauty and grace.
