Waiting On Love
I love hares! They’re like the big bad boys of the rabbit world. They’re bold, they’re brave, and they have the longest legs and ears of any of the lagomorphs. They’re fast runners clocking in at 45 mph, and when just “hanging out and hanging around”, they don’t hop about; in fact they almost seem to walk. When I lived in a small town in Manitoba, Canada, hares were all over the town, as plentiful as the neighbourhood cats.
Check out that beautiful purple hill behind this boy. That’s a maginificent piece of Youghiogheny glass. In it I see a foreground of purple irises, signifying the beginning of Spring.
