River of Gold
River of Gold utilizes one of Bullseye Glass Company’s high end, hand rolled glasses produced in Portland, OR. It’s one of the primary glasses I use. This incredible piece of Bullseye Limited Production glass caught my eye (and my heart).
Bullseye limited edition and special production glasses are made “in the moment” by their casters when they’re feeling inspired. They’re manufactured in small batches only, so once they’re gone they’re gone. Each piece is unique unto itself.
When I saw it, the vision of a river of gold, with misty mountains in the background and snow covered, frozen land in front was all I saw. It was a true piece of art in itself. The framing is an amazing feat of engineering that hubby puzzled out, allowing the glass to take center stage and give an entire “floating” appearance.
